The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vitality specialist that helps change the lives of patients and residents each day. An RN is responsible for providing a full range of nursing care in an interdisciplinary environment including:

•  Assessment

• Monthly Visits on site and via phone 

• Care Planning

• Implementing Care

• Managing Patient Care

• Quality Improvement

• Problem Solving

• Bedside Nursing

• Medication Administration

• Treatments

 

Basic Qualifications & Interests (BQIs)

Graduate (Bachelor's Degree) of an accredited school of nursing with valid license in state of practice

At least three years of experience providing nursing care. Self-directed with excellent time management skills and able to work independently 

Current CPR certification

Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with team members, patients, caregivers, physicians and referral sources

Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours

Provide health care services in patients residences

Perform domestic and household tasks

Transport and accompany patients to various activities and appointments

Administer simple prescribed medications

Assist with clients personal care activities

Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) and report on their condition

Maintain patients care records and document provided services

Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises

Instruct and counsel patients and families on diet and exercise

Collect routine specimens

Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
